This video footage shows exactly how dangerous it can be.
Shocking dashcam footage shows how a motorbike passenger is tossed 20 meters in the air after a high-speed collision with a stationary car.
The terrifying crash happened on the Seletar Expressway in Singapore.
Astonishingly, both the passenger and driver survived the horrid crash.

But as the rider quickly switches lanes, he fails to see the apparent broken-down stationary car in front of him and collides with it.
The bike-rider smashes into the rear of the stationary car, while the passenger is flung about 20 meters on to the highway.
